Crystalbrook Byron

I have been staying at this hotel (with a kitchenette) for many years and love it because of its location - in the middle of a rainforest close to the best beach in the world! It's out of town but they have a shuttle service and Uber is brilliant in Byron now. I have many friends in this little town and this hotel is my one-stop for R&R! There's free yoga in the morning, little wallabies hopping around the trees, a superb pool, and spa and the food is exceptional under new chef Jordan. They are really Eco under the new ownership too. You won't see any paper anywhere and no towel and washing waste.

It’s a very private rainforest hideaway which is beautifully maintained. It has such a relaxed and peaceful environment which we loved. The rooms were spacious and clean. Lovely rainforest views all around and felt private even though there were other apartments all around us. Staff were lovely, helpful and polite. The restaurant had delicious food and drink for every meal we had and the staff were very helpful and informative on menu options to suit the palette. Especially at night when we had our 28th wedding anniversary dinner there. Loved it and would definitely stay at Crystalbrook again in the near future.

Beautiful resort, lovely ambience to the place. We really liked the extensive board walks, long and varied enough to make you feel like you've actually had a good walk, plus the beach if you wanted to walk further. Rooms were great, spotless, and private at the back overlooking nature. Friendly helpful staff. Fabulous nature outlook all through the resort. Just a lovely gentle place to be. We'll be back.

Dinner at the onsite restaurant, Forest, was outstanding. We also had food and drinks in the casual area, Verandah, and they were great. Every staff member was warm and friendly. We arrived early and were able to check-in, leave our bags and head into town. The staff took our bags to the room when it was ready and sent us a text to say we could get into our room, ahead of official check-in time. They were so helpful and everything was managed so efficiently. This is our first time staying in a Crystalbrook property and if this stay is reflective of how they do things, I can't wait to stay at their other hotels too. I should add that the room itself was wonderful - very spacious, with beautiful views into the rainforest and across the glorious gardens of the resort. We really could not have asked for more - what a great long weekend we had!

A beautiful escape into a rain forest of magic. With chirping birds and pristine ambiance. A lovely place to escape with the whole family, and the SPA was absolutely amazing. Loved our whole experience. Including the thunderstorm on our second day.
